The Kahima Trust is an indigenous non-profit organization located in Sheema District Uganda. It is was established to support bright but financially challenged children in Uganda access the best education they can.
The foundation was established in December 2018 and launched in August 2019, in honor of Mr & Mrs. Kahima on the occasion of Mr. Kahima’s 80th Birthday. The initial investment was made by the Kahima family members with support from relatives, friends and neighbors of the family.

INSPIRATION
Mr and Mrs Kahima have valued education all their lives. Their love for education was expressed in the tremendous sacrifices they made to put all their children through school in the face of financial hardship and the hundreds of other individuals they have personally supported in their education journey.
The Kahimas believe in equal opportunity and gave their children and others the same chances for getting the best education possible.
On Mr. Kahima’s 80th Birthday, there was no greater gift to give the couple than a gift that keeps on giving. We hope that the foundation will touch hundreds of lives in Uganda to keep Mr. and Mrs. Kahima legacy alive in perpetuity.
